This museum is located within the Honmaru Palace of the Kurume Castle Ruins — a Prefectural designated historic site.
Displayed here are art works and historical artifacts relevant to the Arima clan who had ruled the region as the Kurume domain lords for over 250 years during the Edo period, as well as various galleries and special exhibitions.
