The former residence of Kurume-born artist Shigeru Aoki has been brought back to life. The facility exhibits artifacts, photographs, and various displays reflecting the childhood home of the late painter where he had nurtured his artistic talent and skills.
It also provides plenty of literature regarding Aoki and various art-related subjects, as well as documents relevant to Kurume’s own history and culture.
